15 Rathbone Place

A new-build 7-storey office block, with a retained historic facade.

The structure was a castellated Fabsec steel plate-girder frame, with composite metal decking, to facilitate the 11m spans and only a single internal column.

A dynamic analysis was undertaken, to mitigate the floor vibrations from people walking along these long spanned beams.
