This mixed used development is comprised of 5 residential blocks, with commerical space at ground level and a single storey deep basement. The blocks were up to 10 stories high.
The new development was of reinforced concrete construction and founded on piles with a suspended ground slab. The basement box was formed with a contiguous piled retaining wall and a concrete liner.
Extensive site investigations were required to ascertain the existing boundary conditions with adjacent properties, and careful detailing was undertaken to ensure they were not adversely affected by the new construction.
With thanks to Waterman Group for allowing the use of the Revit model image and to Lyndon Goode Architects for allowing the use of the completed site photos.
