Leonard Street Stair

This beautiful staircase was designed at the entrance to the building.

The structure was of plate steel. It was predominantly factory welded together, to minimise site welding requirements and provide a superior quality finish.

Finite element analysis was undertaken to verify the structural and dynamic response of this staircase and ensure that it did not seem to vibrate when walked upon.
